Confusion matrix comparison between our proposed model and the three retina specialists. The confusion matrix shows the confusion matrix of the 4th fold from the fivefold cross-validation. The x-axis denotes the predicted class and the y-axis denotes the actual class of a given patient. Our proposed model showed 98.3% accuracy and accurately classified all cases except for one normal case. All the retina experts had more than 10 years of clinical experience.
