Simulation of the nicotine venous plasma concentration in 20 subjects during and after a single use of MST. Four separate uses were administered including two loose snus (27.1 mg/plug, black and 10.8 mg/plug, green) and two pouched snus (14.7 mg/pouch, red and 10.7 mg/pouch, blue). Plugs remained in place for the first 60 min of the study37. Error bars represent one standard deviation.
