CONSORT diagram. Twenty-seven subjects provided consent explanations, two of whom refused to participate. The left and right side dentition of the twenty-five subjects were randomly classified into the TM group and the TM + V group. Two of the twenty-five subjects had occlusal interference and were excluded from the analysis.
