Voltage clamp recordings of spontaneous and miniature synaptic activity in unexposed (a, c) and RF-EMF exposed (b, d) PHNs in the presence and absence of TTX. TTX treatment of exposed PHNs resulted in a dramatic reduction of synaptic events. Magnifications of current trace in which the sEPSCs and sIPSCs become noticeable are shown.
