Proposed mechanism of action of Persea americana seeds in diabetic rats on improving insulin binding and increasing glucose metabolism. P. americana, increases the PI3K/Akt, PCNA, and Bcl2 expression in the insulin signaling pathways. This leads to an increase in insulin sensitivity and a reduction in blood glucose.
