Gene expression analysis of bone formation and resorption marker genes in L2ACgKO bones. qRT-PCR was used to measure mRNA levels of target genes in lumbar vertebrae 6 (L6), and tibias of 5-week-old female Lamp2AC global knock-out (L2ACgKO) mice and their age-matched controls (wild-type mice, WT). (a–d) mRNA levels of osteoclast marker genes Cathepsin K (CtsK) and Trap (Acp5) (a,b); Tnfsf11 encoding pro-resorptive cytokine RANKL (c), and osteoblast marker gene Bglap encoding Osteocalcin (d) were measured.
