Colposcopy images, OCT images and H&E staining images of cyst. Scale bars 150 μm. In OCT image of a fibrous epithelial polyp of the vulval (Fig. 8C), numerous dark strip areas in the stroma were suspected to be capillaries produced by the lesion. The dark areas with clear boundaries could be clearly observed in the OCT image of the cyst (C), effectively corresponding to the cyst in the pathological tissue image (C).
