Study design. Parkinsonian (PD) and essential Tremor (ET) patients were studied in the following experimental conditions: (1) stimulation at the lowest, most ventral contact in an omnidirectional stimulation mode with a pulse width of 60 µs and 30 µs (left column), (2) Stimulation at the second lowest, dorsal, segmented contact with omnidirectional and directional stimulation at one single segment with a pulse width of 60 µs (right column).
