Region-specific changes in functional connectivity networks. Visual representation of 83 nodes or regions in the brain that are significantly different (\(p < 0.05\), FDR-corrected) between individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and typically developing individuals (TD), as captured by Forman–Ricci curvature (FRC) of the nodes in the functional connectivity networks (FCNs) of the subjects. The nodes are defined using the Schaefer atlas and each node belongs to one of 7 resting state networks (RSNs) as listed in the figure legend. We find that identified nodes are mainly concentrated within the default network, somatomotor network, and salient ventral attention network. This figure was created using BrainNet Viewer103.
