Sampling sites of the resected mammary specimens. Three samples were obtained from the surgically resected tissues. The central portion of the cancerous mass (cutting line C), a peripheral region that potentially contained non-invasive cancer cells (cutting line P), and a normal mammary tissue distant from the cancerous lesion (cutting line N) were surgically resected.
