The AC50 and IC50 curves for 4MDM were determined using four different substrates Ala-pNA (orange), Arg-pNA (blue), and Pro-pNA (red). Hydrolysis of Arg-pNA by LTA4H was inhibited in the presence of 4MDM with an IC50 of 328.10 μM. Hydrolysis of Ala-pNA and Pro-pNA was activated by 4MDM with an AC50 of 4.83 μM and 462.81 μM, respectively. All assays were run under the same buffer conditions with 4MDM concentrations between 0 and 8000 μM. The bars represent ± standard deviation (n = 6).
