In addition to diverse functions, pSRS_001 encodes amino acid synthesis and metabolism genes, and a full F-type ATP synthase operon. Presence of plasmid pSRS_001 in the microbiome of (b) adult control, CD, and UC cohorts, and (c) paediatric control, IBD, IBD with C. difficile, and malignancy (ONC) with C. difficile cohorts.
