From: Alignment of the attitude of teleoperators with that of a semi-autonomous android
Outline of the experiment: (1) the participants were asked to rank the 10 given paintings. (2) They joined one of the three experimental conditions (SC, HC, and WC). In all conditions, the android recommended the painting that was ranked 6th by the participants to a male experimenter (he was assumed to be another participant by the participants). (3) Fifteen minutes after the experiment, the participants were asked to re-rank the same 10 paintings. If the rank of the painting recommended by the android was higher than that of the first painting, we can argue through this experiment that the attitude of participants is similar to that of the android, thus supporting our hypothesis.
