The mitochondrial genome (mtDNA) was compared between deltamethrin resistant (IoA-02, IoA-03, IoA-10, NA01-O, NA01-P) and susceptible (IoA-00, IoA-01) L. salmonis strains to establish mutations associated with resistance. The mtDNA sequence of strain IoA-10 was established by PCR followed by Sanger sequencing within the present study, while that of the other strains has been reported previously21.
