Cell proliferation activity of des(1-3)IGF-I and MTD-des(1-3)IGF-I in FDC-P1 cells (a) and HaCaT cells (b). Cell proliferation activity in FDC-P1 cells was analyzed by measuring the color development using WST-1 and in HaCaT cells by crystal violet staining. The results were expressed as % compared to the cell culture without treatment of des(1-3)IGF-I and MTD-des(1-3)IGF-I. Asterisks indicate statistical significance determined by Student's t-test.
