An example of graph which illustrates an actual form of intraoperative blood flow monitoring on the sole of a patient using laser doppler flowmetry during endoscopic lumbar sympathectomy. Peripheral blood flow abruptly decreased right after electro-cauterization of the lumbar sympathetic chain, increased gradually during the sympathectomy, and remained a higher level compared to that before the procedure.
