They relate to the number of channels vs the average between the three sources’ localization error. The lines represent the mean of the localization error\(^*\) of the three sources across the 150 trials, and the colored bands the standard deviation. The mean localization error\(^*\) across the trials and the standard deviation obtained by using the subsets of 60 and 128 electrodes, and the full set of 231 electrodes for the three sources, are presented at right. \(^*\)The mean localization error is computed using the average error between the three sources and then the average of this value across the 150 trials.
