Stratigraphic correlation of the LPS Sarigyugh, Achajur, BL (borderline) and Sevkar in NE-Armenia for the last glacial-interglacial cycle. Palaeosoils belonging to pedocomplexes are indicated by brown colouring, and palaeosoils linked to glacial phases are marked by grey background. The correlation is strongly supported by the post IR-IRSL-225 chronology. On the right side, a simplified sketch offers a standard profile for the loess area in NE-Armenia with an overview on the most important palaeosoils and loess units together with a rough classification of the palaeosoils.
