Inverse filter reconstruction of a mouse hippocampal seizure. A recording of a mouse hippocampal seizure with prominent low frequency activity before seizure onset and after seizure offset was used as the input test signal (A1,A2). This low frequency activity was greatly attenuated in the recorded output (B1,B2). Deconvolution of this recorded output with the system’s UIR resulted in a reconstruction of the original signal with the low frequency components restored (C1,C2). Insets in (A1), (B1), and (C1) show a zoomed in view of the pre-seizure low frequency activity. In all panels and insets, the shaded gray background indicates seizure activity.
