The solid curves are for the case where the effective virulence is the sum of all \(\alpha _i\) (\(\beta ^{i_j}_{i_1,i_2,...,i_k}=\frac{\beta _{0i}\alpha _{j_i}}{K_{0}+\Sigma \alpha _{i}}\)) and the dashed curves are that but in the particular case with only \(C_{i_j}=1\) (\(\beta ^{i_j}_{i_1,i_2,...,i_k}=\frac{\beta _{0i}\alpha _{j_i}}{K_{0}+\alpha _{j_i}}\)). All model parameters are as defined in Table 1.
