Growth suppression of cancer cell lines with lidocaine treatment. Colony formation assay. HeLa (a), U2OS (b), HepG2 (c) and SW480 (d) cells were treated with the indicated concentration of lidocaine and cultured for 7 days. The growth of each cell line was inhibited by lidocaine treatment in a concentration dependent manner. Each sample was assayed in triplicate and the results are presented as the mean ± SD. * p < 0.05, **p < 0.001.
