CD changed expression of the genes principally related to mitosteroidogenesis. Leydig cells from both groups were individually isolated at different time points for 24 h. RQ-PCR analysis was performed on steroidogenesis-related genes (a–f) and main transcription factors regulating steroidogenic elements expression (g–k). CD affected the transcription pattern of genes involved in steroidogenesis in mitochondria (b–d) but also positive (Nur77, g) and negative regulatory genes (Arr19, j). Statistical significance: *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.005; ****p < 0.001 determined by two-way ANOVA.
