CD changed clock genes expression. Leydig cells from both groups were individually isolated at different time points for 24 h. RQ-PCR analysis of clock genes were performed in the second day of the light period in the CD protocol. CD changed diurnal transcriptional rhythms: increased positive regulators Bmal1 (a) and Clock (b) and negative Cry1 (e), Reverba (f) and Reverbb (g) but also decreased Per1 (c) and Per2 (d) in ZT11 and ZT17. Transcription of Rora (h) and Rorb (i) were unaltered. Statistical significance: *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.005; ****p < 0.001 determined by two-way ANOVA.
