Overall Kaplan–Meier curves of high risk and low risk groups in (a) the GSE16011 glioma patients and (b) the TCGA glioblastoma patients with Cox proportional hazard modeling using 7 gene expressions (SHMT1, SHMT2, VPS29, PSAT1, SRR, PHGDH, and PSPH) in serine and glycine biosynthesis pathway. Overall patient survival was determined in patients with high risk (log risk > 0) and low risk (log risk < 0) categorized by the Cox proportional hazard model based on expression of the 7 genes. The p-value was calculated by the log-rank test to evaluate whether two survival curves were statistically significantly different.
