Although microcalcifications can be detected directly at the lower margin in all modalities (arrow), there are other microcalcifications that are only clearly detected in DM and CBCT (arrowhead). Here, direct contact to the margin is exclusively seen in the CBCT (arrowhead). Again, metal-related artifacts around the wires are seen in (B) DBT and (C) CBCT images. The white scalebar indicates 1 cm.
