Each data point represents the measurement of a separate sample which was irradiated with the given fluence; the signal of each irradiated sample was referenced to the signal of the same sample prior to irradiation. Exponential fits to the experimental data are represented by solid lines. The variance in the experimental data may be in part explained by variations of the sample position probed during the DINeC measurements prior to and after irradiation as well as by some inhomogeneity of the irradiation.
