From: Rapid and accurate quantification of isomiRs by RT-qPCR
The study RT-qPCR assay was technically validated by high-throughput small RNA sequencing. To compare results from sequence analyses (log2 fold change [FC] in the base mean count) with results from qPCR analyses (ΔCq), a Pearson linear correlation was performed. The analytical variability between high-throughput RNA sequencing and the RT-qPCR–based assay to predict liver disease progression in individuals with HIV-1/HCV coinfection shows a high concordance.
