The left panel shows the central line of the graph in the right panel. At the time shown in this figure, the load is positioned at \(x = 0\). The depth is \(H=6.8\) m, thickness of the ice sheet is \(h=0.17\)m, and the Young modulus is \(E=5.1\times 10^8\)N/m2. The fluid density is 1026 kg/m3, and the ice density is 917 kg/m3. The damping coefficient is \(b=788\)kg m\(^2\)/s8. The mass of the load is 235 kg. Axis units are in meters.
