The impact of nsSNPs on the mRNA secondary structure properties was predicted by the RNAfold server. (A) RNAfold generated Mountain plot (minimum free energy, Partition function folding and centroid structure) curves for non-mutated BBD129-TA haplotype mRNA. (B) RNAfold generated a Mountain plot of double mutated BBD129-GG haplotype mRNA. The BBD129 nsSNPs impacted the minimum free energy of mRNA secondary structure by influencing base-pairing properties and entropy.
