Elevated waist circumference: ≥ 102 cm for males, ≥ 88 cm for females; elevated triglycerides: ≥ 150 mg/dL and/or specific medication; reduced HDL-cholesterols: < 40 mg/dL for males, < 50 mg/dL for females and/or specific medication; elevated blood pressure: systolic value ≥ 130 mmHg or diastolic value ≥ 85 mmHg and/or specific medication; elevated blood glucose: fasting blood-glucose level ≥ 100 mg/dL or non-fasting blood-glucose level ≥ 200 mg/dL or HbA1c ≥ 6,5% and/or specific medication.
