From: Co-infection of porcine deltacoronavirus and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus induces early TRAF6-mediated NF-κB and IRF7 signaling pathways through TLRs

Figure 1

Messenger RNA (mRNA) expression of pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) including members of toll-like receptor (TLRs) family and retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I)-like receptors on the intestinal mucosa of neonatal pigs. (A) The mRNA levels of TLR3. (B) The mRNA levels of TLR7. (C) The mRNA levels of TLR8. (D) The mRNA levels of TLR9. (E) The mRNA levels of TLR2. (F) The mRNA levels of TLR4. (G) The mRNA levels of RIG-I.The mRNA levels were determined using qPCR. Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) and beta-actin were used as an internal control to normalize changes in specific gene expressions. The results were presented as fold changes relative to the control animals. Different lower-case letters indicate significant differences between each group and each day post inoculation (DPI) (p < 0.05).
