Comparison of the level of expression of NPT2c mRNA after transfection. HEK cells were transfected with a wild type or a mutant NPT2c or a control plasmid (0.5 μg of DNA and 1 μl of lipofectamine 2000 per well). NPT2c and GAPDH mRNA expression were quantified by RT-PCR. Quantitative data represent at least 4 independent experiments. Statistical analysis was performed using a non-parametric Kruskall–Wallis test followed by Dunn’s multiple comparison post-hoc test. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, ****p < 0.0001.
