Effects of light and temperature on motility at 23 °C. Cells of the parental strain A. baumannii V15 and the isogenic ΔbfmRS, ΔbfmR and ΔbfmS mutants were inoculated on the surface of motility plates. Plates were inspected and photographed after 48 h incubation in darkness (D) or in the presence of blue light (L) at 23 °C.
