(A) Schematic drawing and (B) photograph showing the experimental setup of the screw pullout test. Porcine vertebra was potted in specific epoxy resins. The prepared specimens were placed on a specifically designed universal fixture with a self-aligning function and clamped on the upper side of the Instron testing machine to conduct the axial pullout tests.
