Identified mutational resistance based on mutations with a known phenotype from 234 E. coli isolates from bloodstream infections between 1985 and 2018. Mutations in the gyrA and parC genes can result in (fluoro) quinolone resistance (blue), mutations in ampC-promotor genes can results in beta-lactam resistance (red). Mutations responsible for resistance to the 11 tested antibiotics are summarized in the Supplementary Data 3.
