The dependence of the phasor coordinates of damaged cones on eccentricity. Plots of average phasor coordinates g (a) and s (b) versus eccentricity for images acquired with Paradigm 2 containing multiple cones that decrease in fluorescence intensity. Within each plot, a point represents one of 10 locations in 3 monkeys (blue circles—308; red squares—406; yellow triangles—605). Some cones were already damaged and were subsequently identified in Paradigm 2 first exposure (filled). Other cones were damaged as expected and identified in Paradigm 2 s exposure (open).
