From: Coral reef structural complexity loss exposes coastlines to waves
Evolution of the structural complexity from 2005 to 2016 on the west side of Mo’orea (French Polynesia). Perturbations included a predatory sea star (Acanthaster cf. solaris) outbreak from 2006 to 2009 and a cyclone in February 2010.
