  1. HaCaT cell monolayers were treated with 0.5 μg/ml HBD2 in serum free media for 24 h, before addition of 5 μg/ml V8, or vehicle control, for a further 24 h. Cells were then collected and centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 5 min. Dry cell pellet stored at -80 °C prior to analysis. n = 5 per condition.
