Distribution and relative abundance of the eukaryotic divisions across sampling sites. The taxonomy follows the system for the classification of protists proposed by Adl et al. in 2012 and implemented in the PR2 database by Guillou et al. in 2013. “Others” group together all taxa with relative abundance less than 1%. The boxes represent the interquartile range (IQR) between the first and third quartiles and the vertical line inside the box defines the median.
