(A) EIS Nyquist showing the capturing efficiency of the phage sensors towards the selected pathogen strain. EIS was carried out in different measuring conditions including the sole electrolyte (PBS), FCN, DCIP or a combination of DCIP and FCN. The impedimetric signals were recorded before and after taking place the binding between the immobilized phage and the targeting host cells. (B) Effect sensing time on the EIS signal generated by the phage-based biosensor. Bacterial concentration of 1 × 103 CFU/ml was used.
