From: A bidirectional Mendelian randomized study of classical blood lipids and venous thrombosis
Analysis flow chart. We performed bidirectional MR analysis of classical lipids (LDL, HDL and TG) and VTE (DVT and PE). First, we used classical lipids (LDL, HDL and TG) as exposure variables to conduct two-sample MR analysis with VTE (DVT and PE). In addition, to further clarify whether VTE affects lipids, we used VTE as an exposure variable to analyse the causal relationship between VTE and classical lipids.
