  1. The antimicrobial activity of full length and truncated peptides of PLNC8 β was predicted using the servers AntiBP*20 and ADAM#21. Peptides that were predicted to have antimicrobial activity are highlighted in boxes and the variants with the highest score, highlighted in green, were synthesized for analysis in biological systems.
