Spreading of vascular endothelial cells (HUVECs) on plasma-treated and untreated samples. Samples were treated for either 10 or 20 min of oxygen plasma, and cells were seeded on the substrates on day 1 or day 7 to investigate the effect of plasma treatment and its persistence.
