Exemplary result of standardization for a 211 lattice plane pole plot with three visible grains. On the left, we show an input plot with \(\sigma _\phi =1\) and \(\sigma _\psi =2\). In the middle, we plot the standardized output with normalized pole widths of \(\sigma _\phi =\sigma _\psi =2\). There is no noticeable visual difference between the standardized output and the label, except for a slightly brighter background. All pole plots are min-max normalized.
