From: Safety and effect of pipeline flex embolization device for complex unruptured intracranial aneurysms

A patient with a giant aneurysm at the right internal carotid artery ophthalmic segment was treated with a Pipeline embolization device combined with coil embolization. (A) Before endovascular procedure, the giant aneurysm was shown. (B) The aneurysm was firstly partially embolized with coils to promote thrombosis within the aneurysm sac and prevent possible aneurysm rupture before deployment of the Pipeline device. (C) After embolization, angiography revealed contrast filling inside the aneurysm sac. (D) In the venous phase, the contrast agent within the aneurysm was retained. (E) Follow-up angiography 4 months later showed complete occlusion of the aneurysm.
