Geographic locations and spatial distribution of farms, apiaries, and colonies. The yellow stars represent the different farm locations. Each farm housed three apiaries at least 100 m apart that contained a total of 12 colonies, 4 in each management system. The spatial arrangement of the different treatments was randomly assigned across apiaries.
