Process of generating the 3D geometry of epithelial monolayer sheet for the wound healing process. First, a 2D model of the epithelial monolayer sheet was generated via Voronoi tessellation. The wound was created by removing several cells in the middle of the sheet. The 2D model was then extruded to achieve the epithelium thickness. Eventually, an ECM substrate was built underneath the monolayer.
