(A) Represents a measure of space use, rather than activity levels, for example if they travelled repeatedly from zone 1 to zone 2 it would only be considered two distinct zones. Distances are expected to be inflated due to the accuracy of the UWB system (± 30 cm) but represent general patterns. Data for Days 31 and 32 are excluded as broilers were penned for a part of these days to prevent them from being removed during thinning. As the tagging of broilers was staggered, Days 23–25 consist of data from 8 tags while Days 26–37 consist of data from all 17 tags.
