DNA damage in tubular epithelial cells in neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients treated with STZ. Microscopic images of human kidney biopsy samples subjected to immunostaining for γH2AX as well as PAS and Masson trichrome staining. Number of γH2AX + tubular epithelia was counted high magnification pictures of three thin basement membrane disease patients as healthy control and two STZ-treated NET patients (#1 and #2).
