A woman in their 30 s had dysmenorrhea and increased menstrual volume and was found to have uterine adenomyosis. (A) Before high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment, the lesion measured 61.8 mm × 78.3 mm × 74.8 mm on ultrasound imaging. (B) After HIFU treatment, the lesion was reduced to 35.2 mm × 56.9 mm × 37.8 mm.
